Laborers Local 309 has been a cornerstone of Rock Island, Illinois, Iowa, and the greater Quad Cities for generations. Our members are the skilled men and women who build the roads, bridges, schools, and hospitals that connect and strengthen our communities. From public infrastructure to private development, the work of Local 309 touches every corner of the region.
But we’re more than just builders.
We are a union that fights for fair wages, safe job sites, and benefits that protect working families. Our members are also proud neighbors and volunteers, giving back to the communities we help build. Local 309 is part of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA), which represents over half a million workers across the United States and Canada.
