The Great Plains Laborers District Council (GPLDC) is the cornerstone of labor representation for Construction, Industrial and Public Sector workers across the vast Great Plains region. Our district council is a subsidiary of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA), representing a proud brotherhood and sisterhood of skilled laborers who contribute tirelessly to serve our communities and build our nations infrastructures.
In this episode, we reflect on the major milestones, organizing victories, and challenges we faced together in 2025 on our march to one million members. From breaking new ground at the Organizing For Growth Conference to standing strong through the government shutdown, this year proved that when Laborers stand together, we don’t just survive—we win.
